The easiest method is to download the template below. Copy your entire manuscript, and paste it into the template by selecting “Edit” and “Paste and match formatting.”
Formatting Checklist #
- Double-spaced font
- 12-point Times New Roman
- 1-inch margins
- Standard A4 page size
- Left-aligned text
- 0.5″ first-line indent
- No manual tabs (using tab button)
- One space between sentences
Tip: If you have extra spaces or manual tabs and aren’t sure how to use find and replace to remove them, bring them to your proofreader’s attention.
